Walter Eul

1967 born at Wuppertal

After studying computer science and art (University of Hildesheim, HBK Braunschweig, Kunstakademie Düsseldorf - master student of Prof. Schwegler), Walter Eul worked as an art director, technical project coordinator and internet consultant for numerous agencies in Düsseldorf and Hamburg. At the same time, he realized various artistic projects in the field of new media/internet.

Since 2006 he has focused on painting – among other things, he founded the group "deckkraft" with Marc von Criegern specializing in large-format, site-specific and participatory painting.

Since 2014 he is collaborating with Heike Weber on art in architecture projects.

Exhibitions among others at Wilhelm Lehmbruck Museum Duisburg, Museum Fridericianum Kassel, Kunstpalast Düsseldorf, Kunstverein Hannover, Kunsthalle Recklinghausen, Kunstraum Düsseldorf, Galery ABTART Stuttgart, projections at Dumbo NYC, Galery Lisi Hämmerle, Bregenz, kjubh Kunstverein, Köln, Hugenottenhaus Kassel, Magazin 4, Städtische Galerie, Bregenz and LVR Landesmuseum Bonn.
